“On Paper” is Nick West’s first solo exhibition in Tokyo. Each artwork is made of or from paper. This show includes recent and previous works shown together for the first time. Consisting of a main installation, a painting, a series of collages, and a print, “On Paper” brings together several ways of working to combine the process of abstraction with the possibilities of language.
The opening reception: Friday 25th May from 6pm-8pm.

「On Paper」はNick Westの東京における初の個展です。各作品は、紙を素材や原料として制作されています。この個展では、新作と過去の作品を初めて一緒に展示します。メイン・インスタレーション、絵画作品、一連のコラージュ作品、版画などで構成される「On Paper」は、さまざまな作業方法を一つにまとめ、抽象化のプロセスと言語の可能性を結びつけています。
