It was a sunny warm day, a perfect day to meet a friend. We met at an old train station and made our way into Chinatown or Chūkagai (中華街) as it’s known in Japan.
People praying and leaving their prayers burning along incense to remind the Gods to see their pleads with benevolence.
As time passed, we felt the urge of a snack and lucky us, Chinatown is not only known for its beautiful architecture but its cuisine as well. And even the simplest of meals is not only a treat for your palette but the eyes, too. A delightful piece of heaven wrapped in red — the colour of Chinatown.
